The winning team’s institution gets:

1. Global recognition and a mention in the ‘The Global Entrepreneurship Hackathon’ Hall of Fame.

2. A Certificate of Recognition for nurturing The Global Entrepreneurship Hackathon’ champions.

3. Free 12 months access to Ureka’s Education Resources like Industry Career Sessions, Global Business Leader sessions, International Teaching Projects, etc.

 

Process

Entry open to all students (any number of teams can take part from an institution)

Can register online in teams or individually. Each team can have 1 - 3 students 

Pay online registration fee of USD 10 

 

Dates & Schedule

The Global Entrepreneurship Hackathon is a series that will run starting from Jan 2021. The first hackathon is scheduled for the following dates:

Day 1 - Saturday, 16th January, 2021 - Masterclass & VC Session (via zoom)

 

1. Evaluating Business Ideas Masterclass by London Business School and University of Oxford alumni – 60 minutes

2. Session with Managing Director of an International Venture Capital firm – 60 minutes

 

Day 2 – Sunday, 17th January, 2021 - Hackathon Day

 

1. Problem Statement explained online via zoom – 30 minutes

2. Hack the Idea in teams – 3 hours

(think of ideas to solve the problem, evaluate the solution, submit online)

 

Results will be announced in an award ceremony and one winner and two runners up will be selected.
